Richard Jefferson is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. He played college basketball for the University of Arizona. Jefferson was drafted in the first round of the 2001 NBA draft with the 13th overall pick, and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in his first season with the New Jersey Nets. He won a bronze medal with the U.S. national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. He was previously in a relationship with American model Kesha Nichols from 2006 to 2009.
